Hong Kong Introduces New Patent System

Hong Kong has launched a new patent system on December 19, 2019, marking a milestone in the city’s development as an innovation hub and IP trading centre. The new system reduces patenting costs and speeds up the approval process, bringing greater convenience for R&D professionals.

Hong Kong's FinTech Environment

2020-21 Budget Announced

The Financial Secretary, Mr Paul Chan, announced on February 26th the 2020-21 Budget Plan which includes a wide range of measures helping Hong Kong tackle the current economic difficulties and supporting the community during challenging times by making optimal use of the fiscal reserves.
