From the desk of our SHKBA President

Dear Members and Friends

You herewith receive my first welcome letter as the newly elected President of SHKBA. I am delighted to succeed Esther Naegeli in this function and would like to sincerely thank her for the great support and smooth hand-over process. At the same time Gino Giuliato and I would like to extend a big thank to all of you for your trust. We are happy to take on our new roles.

In my function I see the following points as a top priority
  • Open dialogue with members and interested parties: entering into a constant information exchange and dialogue with you is my number one priority. I see the Chamber as a hub for its members to network and to support your business activities. Please let us know which topics rank high up on your agenda and in what ways we can be of any help to you.
  • Insightful events: we would like to organize events relevant to your business and organization. We see a need to shed more light on various interesting initiatives taken by the HK Government, e.g. in the Family Office sector.
  • Networking opportunities: we will continue to organize get-togethers as this proved to be an excellent platform for its members to meet existing business partners and friends as well as to make new contacts.
With the summer holidays approaching I would like to wish you a great and relaxing vacation and look forward to staying in touch and seeing you at one of our upcoming events.

Sincerely,
Marcel Schmid
President SHKBA
