On October 8, 2019, the International Center for Corporate Governance (icfcg.org), China Europe International Business School (ceibs.edu) and Swiss-Chinese Chamber of Commerce (sccc.ch) are holding a seminar titled “Mastering China at the Board Level”.

As most internationally oriented firms have an increasing number of interactions with China and Chinese firms, a solid understanding of the opportunities and challenges of doing business with and in China is essential. The effective governance of such interactions has turned out to be a major value driver. This requires from all, investors, board members and top management of these companies to be fully aware of the legal corporate governance requirements as well as having a clear view of how to drive board effectiveness in such a context.

The Seminar will feature Prof. Dr. Xu discussing how to succeed in Today’s China, Prof. Dr. Michael Hilb focusing on the Chinese case of mastering Corporate Governance in a globalized world and other speakers to be confirmed.
