China International Import Expo 2019 (CIIE)

The 2018 China International Import Expo (CIIE) has notched up notable successes in both attendance and transaction volume, with 3,617 exhibitors from 151 countries and regions along with over 406,200 domestic and overseas buyers attending, resulting in over USD 57.83 billion worth of trade deals signed. Swiss presence at the 1st CIIE was impressive with 44 companies taking up 3669 sqm as the 4th largest European country in exhibition space, and Swiss companies have contracted deals valued at USD 3.59 billion. This reflects the strong engagement the Swiss industry has with China.

The 2nd CIIE is to take place from November 5 to 10, 2019. It will feature 7 exhibition themes: Sci-tech, Automobile, High-end Equipment & Intelligent Manufacturing, Medical Equipment & Health Care Products, Quality Life, Trade in Services, and Food & Agricultural Products.

The Swiss-Chinese Chamber of Commerce (SCCC) and Swiss Centers China (SCC) continue to be the official partner of CIIE for Swiss participation. We are happy to answer enquiries from any member or Swiss company interested in participating in this grand trade show. In addition, this year we hope to group Swiss companies in the same industry into a joint booth to enhance visibilities. As to our experience and understanding, this year's CIIE will be overwhelmed with over-booking, therefore we encourage the Swiss companies who are interested to contact us as early as possible to secure presence in the fair.
